3 Texans Chili Cook-Off

Saturday 2/8  2-4pm (set up at 1pm) 

Entry Fee: $20 Bring your best chili recipe and all the fixings.

Sampling Fee: $10 to try as many chilis as you want.

Once sampling and judging is completed, all customers will have the opportunity to purchase a bowl of their favorite one for $5!

Cookie Classes with Busy B's Bakes:

This class is super beginner friendly, so it's perfect whether you are just looking for something fun to do or if you want to get into the very fun hobby of cookie-ing! If you have limited experiences with sugar cookies, found yourself frustrated with royal icing, or if you're trying to win those gingerbread house contests come Christmas time, this is the class for you!

During class, I will walk you through the decorating steps for a set of cookies that tastes amazing and will look even better once you’ve finished icing them!

I'll bring everything you will need to enjoy the class - cookies, icing, sprinkles, and boxes to take your awesome creations home in - all that's missing is YOU!

Order an extra cookie kit and take the class home with you to teach your kiddos or practice yourself a second time! Take home kits come with everything you used in class as well as an email with the class PowerPoint so you can follow the step-by-step instructions from home!

How long can a kit last? Depending on how you store your icing, your kits can last for a week or longer. Freezing cookies keep them fresh for a long time, but I'd recommend using your kit as soon as possible - ideally in the first week after you've taken it home.

Goat Soapmaking Class

Description: Learn the old-fashioned skill of soapmaking using our farm fresh goat milk. All supplies and ingredients will be provided to make about 12 bars (2lbs) of goat milk soap that you will get to take home with you. You will be able to choose your own colorant, fragrance, and soap mold to make it to your liking.

Day of Instructions: Please wear a long-sleeved shirt, pants, and closed toe shoes. You will be working with sodium hydroxide (lye), so we want to ensure your skin is protected. A liability waiver will need to be signed at the time of class. 18 and over please.

Cheese Making Class

Description:

June from The Small Farm will be hosting our 1st ever cheese making class. Bring a date and let's learn to make ricotta, mozzarella, and burrata cheeses.

While these 3 cheeses are quick to make, you'll be sure to impress others with your ability to whip up some cheese in a flash using just a few basic ingredients. Work with your date to learn the process of cheesemaking, and then enjoy a glass of (or more) 3 Texans wine with your freshly made cheese.

Tickets are $120/couple. This includes cheese making/tasting and a glass of wine of your choice.
